Performance tests are conducted using specific computer systems and reflect the approximate performance of iMac. Blender 4.0 Beta tested by rendering a 47.1 MB blend file 3D scene utilizing software-based ray tracing. Testing conducted by Apple in September and October 2023 using preproduction 24-inch iMac systems with Apple M3, 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB SSD, as well as production 3.3GHz 6-core Intel Core i5-based 27-inch iMac systems with Radeon Pro 5300 with 4GB of GDDR6 memory, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB SSD.Adobe Premiere Pro (Beta) 24.1 tested with Scene Edit Detection using a 2-minute and 19-second project with Apple ProRes 422 HQ media, at 1920x1080 resolution and 23.98 frames per second. Testing conducted by Apple in September and October 2023 using preproduction 24-inch iMac systems with Apple M3, 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 24GB of RAM, and 2TB SSD, as well as production 24-inch iMac systems with Apple M1, 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, 16GB of RAM, and 2TB SSD.Tested with Affinity Photo 2 v2.2.0 using the built-in benchmark version 21000. Testing conducted by Apple in September and October 2023 using preproduction 24-inch iMac systems with Apple M3, 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB SSD, as well as production Intel Core i7-based PC systems with Intel Iris Xe Graphics, 16GB of RAM, 512GB SSD, and the latest version of Windows 11 Home available at the time of testing.
